Episode 11-Show notes

HEY!!!! EVERYONE!!! I’m back from Camp KIP. It was so GREAT, I can’t believe how fantastic it was. This Episode is pretty much a shout out to all my CAMP KIP folks. New Haven, MO was very much like the landscape of Maine but the weather was way better. It was between 60-80 degrees for the whole week. (Gerry said it was 35-45 here at home the whole time)

Manor House (My home)

Camp KIP was located at the Cedar Creek Conference Center and I was roomed in the Manor house. The inside was just as lovely has the above picture. We had a chance to check our the grounds after the 3 days…lots of time to chit-chat and exercise (if you wanted too lol) AND KNIT!

There was about 100 ladies at camp. I believe about 60 of them did the local swap. The swap was a lot of fun, my swap was from woolenwarrior from San Fran, ca which was great.

Drop Spindle Class

I took a Drop spindle class and learned how to do magic loop. Lots of great tips on color work as well. Learned about beer and wine from the tasting events. Plus got to meet a ton of GREAT podcasters.

Meghan from Stitch It!

Amy from Outlier

Jackie from KIPing It Real

Shilo from Spin Control

Paula from Knitting Pipeline

Wendy from Sassypants Knitter

Erin from Anatomy of Knitting

Jasmin & Gigi from The Knitmore Girls

Rachel of KnitCents

Erin of Brass Needles

Chrissy of the Manic Purl

Carin from KnitWit

The Party Van Crew

Field Trip was to Bah! Yarn. I did also purchased From Mama Zooma and Froebe Fibers. Plus I got home and Stephen West offered the Camp KIPPERS a treat by offering a discount on his daybreak Shawl pattern. And I will be using my TurtlePurl yarn as one of the two yarns from our goodie bags.

M&K LinenGuppa from Mamazooma

Super Merino from Froebe Fibers

As you can see I (everyone) had a FANTASTIC time!~~~Next Episode will be back to work. Please remember to enter April Contest.

Lori, it sounds like you had an awesome time, I am so jealous. Once again, it shows that you get a bunch of knitters together and only good things happen.
