Episode 21 guilty pleasure

So I have lots of guilty pleasure to talk about this week.

Last week I mentioned the chickens were happy and I mentioned new construction was happening for more chicken happiness. Well it has been completed…now the chickens have a 10ftx8ft pen with a ramp for easy access to their coop. Holy Cows my chickens live in a high-end condo-I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a maid which they call in for their cleaning needs…oh right that’s me. LOL

This week I went to down to Portland to meet Jolene for a girl’s weekend. Its was a great time. We did the priceline thing so we got a GREAT PRICE and stayed at a very nice hotel. When we checked in at 2pm they give us WHOOPIE PIES!!! it was awesome lol. So it was very warm that day so we decide to go to old orchard beach.

anyways here is two more guilty pleasure: I ate twice in one weekend at Cracker Barrel. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. YUM!!!

Second: PEDICURE!!! I love pedicures and if you havent ever had a PEDICURE you need too!!!!..even if you don’t like your feet touched.

Third: I went to 3 yarn shops! 1st Knit Wits in Portland. Lovely shop. Then Purl Diva I wish I lived closer to this shop!!! each time I have been there I love it…Owner is so helpful. and shop is very cute. And last was just AC. Moore (just a craft shop). All in all it was a great weekend.

Sticks & Strings:

Finished weaving in the ends and blocking Isis. Now I just need to seam up the shoulders which has me very nervous. I am slightly worried it’s not going to be long enough. Might have to gift it.

I have the 2nd part of the daybreak completed. So I am going to start the border rows so I am 85% done.

I have swatched for the Jordan and I have about 2 inches of the bottom lace completed. It’s a fast knit and the lace pattern is easy to remember. here is the Ravelry link too.

I also got yarn for the #99 Flutter-Sleeved Blousy Lace Cardigan by SweaterBabe. I love this sweater!

That should cover it:

Need some suggestions for a good website for sundress tutorials. Let me know.

Food for thought:

Lemon Fruit Dip:

Lemon Jello pudding powder (don’t make into pudding)

mix in a package of cream cheese (8oz). and then a jar of marshmallow Fluff—once that is mixed, fold in 8oz coolwhip. chill for about 2hr-4hrs.

Serve with fruit, pound cake, angel food cake, graham crackers (just to name a few options)

TRY IT! so good!
